Science Activities Year 3-4
The Year 3-4 Students involved in science club have completed some of the following science activities...
Pondering on Plants:
*make a model of a flower and include all of its parts with an explanation to share.
*choose a plant and tell how it changes over the seasons, explaining what is happening and why.
*cut a piece of fruit in half and draw exactly what you see, label the parts you know and find out about those you don't.
Tantalizing Toys:
*make a toy that runs by a rubber band
*make a game that two people can play using magnets
*using recycled materials, make a safe toy for a five year old child to play with
These are just a few of the many science activities that students have to choose from out of the four main science activity challenge sheets: Pondering on Plants, Tantalizing Toys, Weather Watch, World of Water.
